Located in the historic Marina City complex on the Chicago River, the House of Blues Chicago opened in 1996 and has since been host to many of the world’s most renowned musicians. It features legendary acts, such as The Who and Al Green, and even contemporary artists, such as Pearl Jam and Jurassic 5. It is modeled after the wondrous ”Estavovski” Opera House in Prague and the spectacular views from the exclusive Opera Boxes provide unique and unforgettable experiences. The House of Blues Chicago keeps up with tradition by displaying the “Crazy Quilt,” and it keeps a metal box of mud from the Delta Mississippi underneath its stage.
