NO I.D.

NO I.D.

We all know NO I.D. as a successful and dope producer for some of today’s big-name artists like Kanye West, Common, and Jay-Z. As a Chicago native, he is known as the “Godfather of Chicago Hip Hop.” For Kanye West, he was more than just a producer; Kanye highly considered him as his mentor and still does. NO I.D. was with Kanye from the very beginning when Kanye was a young boy at fourteen years old and NO I.D. was twenty. Through a meeting between both of their mothers, NO I.D. and Kanye first met, and young Mr. West was taught  very much about music from the famous producer.

NO I.D. was also producing all of Common’s music for quite a while. Eventually, they fell out of touch, but recently NO I.D. feels that he would like to work with Common again on his next album.

NO I.D. brought up Kanye and Common from basements straight to high rises all on their own. They’ve all worked very hard together, and didn’t need the hook-ups or recommendations to do so. Everything they’ve earned was all based on pure talent.

NO I.D. is quite proud of himself, Kanye, Common, and the rest of the Chicago-native hip hop artists for their lyrical abilities. No I.D. is currently the president of the GOOD Music label, which was founded by Kanye West.
